Patriotic Doggy Ice Cream Bars

Here is a great option to whip up for your beloved Doodle for the 4th of July BBQ. It is quick, easy recipe that your Doodle will love!

Ingredients:

  • Plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • Coconut Oil
  • Honey
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Doggy tray/mold of your choice

Directions:

  1. Wash the fruit
  2. Chop into 1/4″ to 1/2″ pieces
  3. Mix the yogurt with coconut oil & honey (1-cup yogurt to 1 tbsp. coconut oil & 1 tspn. honey) in separate bowl
  4. Sprinkle fruit randomly in the dog molds
  5. Cover the fruit with the yogurt mixture (make sure to get the yogurt gets all around the fruit pieces so there are no air bubbles or empty areas
  6. Place the mold in the freezer for at least 2-hours
  7. Pop the ice cream from the molds & serve
  8. Store in a airtight container in the freezer
